Welcome to Cozy Clay
We are a community pottery studio based in Woburn, MA, that provide a space for people to be creative, work with their hands, and unplug.
Our studio features 15 pottery wheels, dedicated hand building tables, a slab roller, and an extruder. We offer 4 mid-fire clay bodies and 10 studio glazes. We fire all work to cone 6.

One-Time Workshops, Multi-Week Classes, and Kids Workshop
Workshops are a beginner-friendly option to get your hands dirty and try out the wheel.
The one-time workshop includes:
2 hour workshop (~1.5 hours of beginner-friendly instruction and ~30 mins for clean up)
All materials provided
Keep up to two pieces
Choose your glaze
Trimmed and glazed by studio staff
Pick up pieces a month after workshop
$80 per person
Multi-week classes are good for all levels:
10-week classes offered from 9/22 to 12/5
5-week classes offered from 9/26 to 10/24 and 10/31 to 12/5
The class includes:
2 hours of instruction per week
25 pounds of clay (10-week class) or 15 pounds of clay (5-week class)
Studio glazes, bisque and glaze firings included
Dedicated shelf (24" x 24") to store pieces/tools
Shared communal pottery tools
$550 per person (10-week) or $295 per person (5-week)
Memberships
Memberships are ideal for those who can work independently at the pottery studio and have previous ceramics experience.
Interested in becoming a member? Submit an interest form to join the waitlist. We’ll reach out when a shelf becomes available to schedule a tour the studio and chat about your pottery experience! Estimated wait for a shelf is approximately 2-8 weeks.
